Technical characteristics
Provides triple disinfection: ozone, OH radicals and UV-C. When ozone is used in combination with UV-C light in water, hydroxyl radicals (•OH) are created. These radicals are very effective in oxidizing micropolutants in the water and therefore reducing the organic and inorganic pollution in the water. Also, chlorine disinfection by-products such as THM and chloramines are being reduced.

Inside the UV-C housing, any residual ozone will be converted into OH radicals (the so-called Advanced Oxidation Process) that have an even stronger oxidising power than ozone. The expected lifespan of the lamp regarding UV-C is 9000 hours. When you replace the lamp (for example) in March there will be enough ozone-production for the whole season (for example March to September) and there will be enough UV-C radiation for a whole year.
